BTW if that 8 inch rear has 3.40:1 gears they have probably been replaced as I dont think any 67/68 came with that ratio from the factory. Also I prefer not to use the term 'posi' (aka positraction) which is a gm term. Ford term is Traction Loc. Generic term for a 'locking' rear axle is 'limited slip'. Good luck Paul.
